Find companies
Discovery is how Verentis finds businesses at all. It is the only stage that can spend money with a data provider, so it always shows the cost first and nothing is called until you press Run.
Run a search
Section titled “Run a search”- Open Find companies.
- Under Source, choose a provider. Each one shows what it does, what it costs, its free tier and whether it is Ready or Needs a key.
- Under Search, fill in:
- Cities: separate with semicolons, for example
Denver, CO; Austin, TX. Leave blank to use the geography in your ideal customer profile. - Results per query: the most records to fetch per search.
- Search depth: how many ranking positions to read. 20 to 30 is right for most work.
- Spend cap (USD): a hard limit for this run.
- Cities: separate with semicolons, for example
- Press Estimate. Verentis prices the search without calling anything.
- If the estimate is under your cap, press Run. If it is over, the page says so: raise the cap or narrow the search.

New companies appear in Companies. The run log is on Activity.
